Come and enjoy our adult surfcamp for a holiday closer to nature! Surfing lessons for beginners or progressers, quality surfing equipment, and camping accommodation near the beach, all shared with a small group of adults who will quickly become friends.
Surf and accommodation for Adults - Full week stay
what is included in the surfcamp :
surf sessions of 2 hours, distributed at the best times in relation to the tides. Supervision by qualified instructors offering quality teaching based on a pedagogy of success, to learn to slide, or to improve, but above all to have fun!
Loan of quality surfing equipment (board and wetsuit - shorty or integral, as desired) during supervised lessons, and provision of equipment to practice independently (if you wish) outside of sessions.
Accommodation in a tent at La Grigne*** campsite, with access to campsite facilities (tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, table tennis tables, etc.)
Access to the kitchen tent and common areas of the surfcamp: large dining tables, chill area with hammocks, beach volleyball court, etc.
Free parking near the surfcamp
A welcome drink on arrival, to get to know more easily the other people with whom you will spend your stay
A sunset & beer: one surf session is set to end at sunset, which we admire from the beach while sharing the aperitif organized by the So Nice Team (* subject to weather conditions and tide times ; mostly on week surfcamp )
1% of the amount of the stay donated to associations for the protection of the oceans
🏖️ A natural spot, free from concrete and crowds
We’re in Le Porge Océan, right next to Lacanau… but without the buildings or crowded beaches.
Here, not a single building in sight: just you, the ocean, the pine forest, and a vast, unspoiled beach.
It’s the perfect place to learn to surf or improve your skills at your own pace, in a cool and relaxed atmosphere.
And at the end of the day? Sunset over the ocean is a ritual we never miss 🌅
⛺ Under the Tent, Peaceful Under the Pines
You’ll sleep in a large tent, set up in a quiet corner of La Grigne campsite*, in the shade of the pine trees.
Mattresses are provided (and comfortable!).
The toilets and hot showers are nearby. You’ll share the tent with another person of the same gender, or with a partner if you’re traveling together. If you prefer to sleep solo, single tents are available with additionnal fees (in May, June and September).
All this in a natural, simple, and welcoming atmosphere—perfect for disconnecting, breathing, and reconnecting ✨
🛋️ A chill zone for cooking, sharing, and relaxing
In the heart of the camp, a large kitchen tent awaits, equipped with everything you need: refrigerators, a stove, dishes, a coffee maker…
But most importantly: a true chill zone with beanbag chairs, hammocks, and large communal tables. Here, you can cook, chat, and relive the day’s sessions over a drink.
Whether you’re alone or with others, everyone quickly finds their place in this simple and friendly camp life ✨

Accommodation at Camping La Grigne * * *
Accommodation in tent (two persons in a large tent) at the campsite la Grigne * * *, shaded and located close to the beautiful beach of Porge. The tents are mounted before your arrival, the mattress is provided, all you have to do is bring your duvet and pillow!
In the campsite you will find a small supermarket well furnished, a bakery, a press area, a bar/snack, pizzas to take away, an automatic laundry and bicycle rentals.
So Nice Surfcamp
The large kitchen tent is located in the center of the surfcamp. It is fully equipped, you will find everything you need: refrigerator, freezer, gas cooker, electric hob, crockery, coffee maker, etc.
We set up tables near the kitchen tent to eat together outside; in case of bad weather the tent is big enough to eat inside.
Coming to the surfcamp without a car
The nearest SNCF train station is Bordeaux Saint-Jean, and the airport is Bordeaux Mérignac. Public transport is available to reach the surf camp, located at Camping La Grigne (Le Porge Océan); we can send you the timetable by email, please feel free to contact us ([email protected]).
